A minimalist rowing boat for exercise or longer trips. ROW eXplorer 4.6 is a clean and simple rowing boat for single or double rowing. Seaworthy, fast but stable and easy to handle. There is plenty of space for passengers, the dog or luggage for longer adventures. The buoyancy is in double watertight spaces in the bow and stern.
ROW eXplorer 4.6 is equipped as standard for single rowing. It can be upgraded to double rowing with an extra ROW-ing Unit for the front rowing place and a second pair of oars. It only takes a few minutes to switch between single and double rowing.

ROW eXplorer 4.6 – perfect simplicity!
A simple boat, it may seem, until you discover the details that make up the boat. This makes the ROW eXplorer 4.6 the seaworthy, stable and surprisingly fast boat for single or double rowing that it is.
With a total weight of just 39 kilos, the boat is very easy to handle both in the water and out. It can be carried up to the beach or even loaded onto a car roof.
The eXplorer is our oldest model and has been around ever since it’s premiere at the 2005 boat show "Allt för Sjön" in Stockholm.
Since then, the designers Wim Kotzé and Hans Friedel have made countless small refinements, improvements and adjustments. Small things that individually may seem trivial, but which have make the eXplorer 4.6 the complete sports, exercise and long-distance rowing boat that it is today.
It has an aluminum keel that significantly extends its life and makes the ROW eXplorer 4.6 a faithful boat for many long years to come - in all weathers, whenever the ice is not too thick.
As standard, it is equipped for single rowing, but for those who wish, it can be upgraded for double rowing. It then only takes minutes to change the boat between single and double rowing.
The boat is set up similarly to a racing sculler however, as a utility boat for everyday life, it has room for both passengers, the dog, food and bags.
All this, as well as much more, in a rowing boat that still looks and feels so liberatingly simple!
